Rebecca's talents have been heard from coast to coast on radio and television stations like the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and CJOH/CTV Television in Ottawa. She's worked with many production companies, including Moses Media, Go Radio, Folliot Communications, Maritime Mediaworks, and Commercial On Hold.

Having worked as a radio personality in many different music genres for nearly thirty years, Rebecca finally found her home in country music. A member of both the American Country Music Association and the Canadian Country Music Association, Rebecca has had the pleasure of introducing a host of country artists on stage, and has met and interviewed many of your favourites - George Jones, Johnny Reid, Victoria Banks, George Canyon, Aaron Pritchett, Emerson Drive, Dean Brody, and many others, Rebecca has interviewed many Music City residents, but still lists one of her most memorable interviews as the one she had with Peggy Knight, onetime cook and housekeeper to Johnny Cash. Peggy told Rebecca that one of the Man in Black's favourite desserts was a coconut cake she garnished with gum drops. "Peggy sent me a copy of her cookbook, 'Cooking In The House Of Cash,' Rebecca remembers, "And that cake was the first recipe I tried! Now I love it too!"

Interviewing Aaron Pritchett
Rebecca can also reveal what George Jones loves to do before a show when he visits a new town or city. And...what could have lured Victoria Banks away from rubbing shoulders with other Nashville artists at the Cavendish Beach Music Festival in Prince Edward Island last summer? Rebecca Black knows! She's tapped in to Nashville and Nashville North.

IN HER WORDS...OR...THINGS NO ONE KNEW ABOUT REBECCA...UNTIL NOW.
1. I am an excellent organizer, but am worried about that fine line between organization and O.C.D.
2. I don't feel that I've been the best friend I can be in the past, and am hoping I can make up for it with whatever time I have left on the planet.
3. I lost over fifty pounds four years ago on "Herbal Magic" and will never gain that weight back again - it changed my life. Ask me about the benefits of Herbal Magic any time.
4. I am amazed every time I look at my children. But how can they be smarter than me already?
5. I miss my father's voice.
6. I love stair climbing. It's my favourite exercise because it yields such good and immediate results - one hundred times up and down the stairs without stopping, sometimes bounding, sometimes almost crawling; but it works up a good sweat, and gives me a chance to listen to 80's music on my Mp3 player.
7. I love 80's music because it reminds me of my days in the radio course at Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario.
8. I never got my diploma from Loyalist because I jobbed-out early and then got lazy; I could have written one final paper and graduated, but I was too busy working a nightmare of a radio job to pay off my student loans and my $150.00/month rent in Newcastle, New Brunswick. I wouldn't change anything else in my life, but if I could go back, I would write that stupid paper and graduate.
9. I want to build a house on the ocean with a lighthouse beside it; the lighthouse would be my writer's retreat.
10. I love Jann Arden's music and writing.
11. I want to go to Italy and walk through a field of Tuscan sunflowers.
12. I love the movie "Under the Tuscan Sun".
13. I love all things historical, and if I could do anything else for a living, I would choose to be an Archivist or an Archaeologist.
14. I love playing "Word Whomp" on pogo.com
15. My favourite foods are strawberries and non-fat yogurt; homemade cauliflower soup; and lemon-garlic chicken salad. And I'm eating all of those things today.
16. I am trying to eliminate caffeine from my diet. (Wish me luck with that one!)
17. I love Tim Horton's "Candy Cane Hot Chocolate" at Christmas time. (Alas, see #16 above.)
18. I love to share my books, and usually ask people to sign their name in the front before they pass it on to the next person.
19. My mother always used to write in books she gave me, and sometimes I stretch out on the floor and flip through them all, reading what she wrote to me, just to feel her close to me again.
20. I cannot stick to a budget to save my life. But I keep trying.
21. I have a mad crush on Trace Adkins. (Don't tell Rhonda!) :)
